Almost Blue?? Almost Blue?? Does the world really need another version of that? Why can't she do a jazz version of something you wouldn't expect to hear a jazz version of?

Sorry Elvis but Diana SUCKS. What the hell....it was just a matter of time to release an album of tracks written by Elvis, taking advantage of their relationship. Blegh. I still won't buy it!

Temptation is a great blues song

A long wait for a mediocre CD
A collection of mostly forgettable tunes, despite having lines repeated more often than those of a pop song. (Costello's influence?)

The girl is an accomplished jazz pianist and singer, but on this evidence can't write and Costello's best work is behind him.
Bad career move. She should stick to what she's best at and what her fans appreciate, her interpretation of Jazz standards.

Hey you mathapackis.. diana krall is an old lady waiting to fade.. so cut her a craep and give her a break. let alone her cd sell!

OMG you guys all suck! you have no taste... I am a little dissappointed as well that Diana fed off Elvis for this new cd however, it's still Diana! First of all, Elvis does not deserve her... She's way too good for him, and I would be much better than him :D lol jokes... but yeh, I'm so glad she's happy, but ... Diana, Elvis... come on... keep your careers separate!

Diana will always be Diana, her voice and talent at piano..great!! and was about time to listen some of her own lyrics... I've already listened to the new CD and most of the songs are really good, a good work to keep her on the top after last record success... not as Norah Jones who turned into country tunes and really sucks!!
p.s. if Elvis and Diana are happy.. let them be!!

Diana Krall is the best vocalist I ever heard, keep the good work !! Excellent!!!

Do not agree with most of these comments, for instance that they are not keeping their work separate. Believe Diana's new album is excelent, and, Yes, I believe we can hear a lot of Elvis in it (as an influence), as well as a bit of their relationship. Let them all be Happy!

Coming to a theatre near you...Elvis Costello...Yikes! I was shocked to hear that Diana married Elvis...Definitely Beauty and the Beast...But, hey, if they're happy...As for the new CD...I think it's swank!

I love "Narrow Daylight". The vocals are really turned up on this song and Diana's voice is like Butter!
